Mallabhum Institute of Technology is established just not to add one more Engineering College but to have a college with an unique distinction. The very purpose of establishing this college is to produce professionals of high academic brilliance and to induct distinguished professionals and competent engineers by imparting quality teaching to students, vibrant encouraging interaction with industry through consultancy and continuing education programs and to train the students with appropriate skills, keeping pace with rapidly changing industrial scenario and technology.

Every activity of MIT is designed to achieve this objective. MIT without being ritualistic has embarked up on offering Degree courses in emergent area of technology like :-

Twenty First century being just on, we can ill afford to reckon a new vision bereft of complexions of the global level, M.I.T. to begin with, has committed itself to the development of the leading heights of what has come to be known as knowledge society ; its sensitization, generation, dissemination and preservation of knowledge should necessarily being the core foci of M.I.T.

Educational programmes are being so designed as to provide its takers, dominantly students, with the academic environment which is continually demanding and stimulating as well ; pursuits of any programme by M.I.T.is to be necessarily coupled with fervor, and enthusiasm; values and ethics also figure prominently whatever M.I.T. has to cater to its clientele. M.I.T. will put up a continuing endeavor to realize its vision through the approach that can not but be intrinsically missionary in nature.
